The employee is seen. Both colleagues and management make an effort to give every employee a voice. Unlike in other young companies, a work-life balance is desired here and professional life is subordinated to private life to the best of our knowledge. (e.g. family, pets, remote work, etc.) The management style is self-managed/sociocratic. This brings its own challenges. Individually, this is an advantage and a disadvantage. You are encouraged to get more involved and take on responsibility as part of your own development. However, there are no promotions in the sense of a "management position", as the company has no management positions to date except for the management.

The company is still young. Therefore, many processes and structures are still in the discovery phase. Both the management and the employees constantly have to learn new things. This brings its own challenges. Some employees would like to see more consistency here.
