This works well in the company

Basically an attractive route network and half a modern fleet. Of course, the high fluctuation always opens up opportunities for rapid promotions. The tough assignments provide a lot of experience in every respect in a very short time. Pilots, for example, are promoted to captain much earlier than elsewhere. Much more appearance than reality.

This could be improved

As a company, you can use and exploit the fact that people enjoy working in aviation. That's right, everyone is there voluntarily. High fluctuation, especially among flying personnel. However, in a safety-relevant environment, this is critical for the company as a whole and just as much for the individual employee. The concrete effects of this strategy are, for example, §6 working days in a row with four flights per day (!), 1 day off (often ending with late shift and starting with early shift) and again 6 such working days over four weeks in this grid. After that, the official minimum of days off in order to start another such series. No weekend off for 8 weeks, the single Friday during the week (corresponding Fridays requested and ignored). Request for support is dismissed by flight operations as "this is legal". This is no longer just during the summer months, but all year round. This sequence of months leads to real isolation as the strength for other aspects of life is increasingly lacking. Part-time work can hardly be afforded on these low wages, and in this case additional deductions are even claimed for participation in training. Another consequence is a lot of sick leave and even more pressure and planning changes on those who are "left over". Personally and socially, this is enormous wear and tear, and all at minimal employment conditions (salary, pension fund, profit-sharing hardly worth mentioning, shift work not regulated on Fridays).

Collegial team and family atmosphere. Very good career opportunities. Part/full-time workload possible (usually after one year already). The company is Swiss, but somewhat conservative in its appearance. But a good work-life balance. Individual support and targeted goodies for employees must be improved. Fluctuation rather high.
