Its business is anchored in a strong “crop to shop” philosophy, having pursued vertical integration from the tobacco fields in the Dominican Republic and Honduras to its global network of 65 Davidoff flagship stores/satellites and strong appointed merchants in 139 countries.

Very little. But a lot has always been done this way, and that's why it stays that way.

This could be improved

There is potential for improvement in almost all areas. Unfortunately, the company is very profitable and the pressure to make changes, optimize processes, develop a strategy, initiate personnel planning, apply modern personnel management principles - none of this is tackled "because the company result is right". Departments sometimes work against each other, there are no coordinated divisional goals, there is no corporate strategy and managers' opinions of their employees are stuck somewhere in the 1970s. Empowerment, project management and process management are neither wanted nor known here.

Gute Kollegen und gut ausgestattete Arbeitsplätze. Nah am Bahnhof.

Die Vorgesetzten sollten sich mehr auf die wirklichen Aufgaben und Probleme konzentrieren und sich weniger beeinflussen lassen. Die eigene Arbeit auch mal kritisch betrachten. Projekte werden halbherzig ausgeführt, deshalb gibt es überall Baustellen. Weniger unnötige Sitzungen und dafür mehr Produktivität wäre angebracht.

Gute Kollegen und gut ausgestattete Arbeitsplätze, mit Ausnahme der Bürostühle, modern und nah am Bahnhof.

Die Vorgesetzten sollten sich mehr auf die wirklichen Aufgaben und Probleme konzentrieren und sich eigene Meinungen bilden, anstatt sich beeinflussen lassen von den Lieblingsmitarbeiter! Die eigene Arbeit auch mal kritisch betrachten und nicht nur auf die unterstellten schieben. Ein Lob ab und zu kann auch nicht schaden. Projekte werden halbherzig ausgeführt, deshalb gibt es überall Baustellen. Bisschen weniger unnötige Sitzungen und dafür mehr Produktivität wäre angebracht.
