I worked for a long time at Schott AG in St. Gallen. At the beginning I was in the 3-shift system, later the 4-shift system was also introduced in our department. Wage was OK, but thanks to the shift bonus. Usually on time. There are enough orders in most departments. The location is very easy to reach (public transport/postauto as well as nearby motorway exit/entrance), parking spaces available.

Due to the current 4-shift system, you work every second weekend Saturday and Sunday at 12h (4x0.5h break). Only 4 weeks holiday (20 days) for shift workers! Workers who work office hours have more holidays which is not understandable. Company holidays mostly 5 weeks a year, which means that you are 1 week short.
