Communication and collaboration between departments can be improved.

At STAAR, you have many opportunities for further training. The internal trainings to get to know other departments are very interesting. Communication between supervisors and employees is also very good. There is a good working atmosphere and the working conditions are good. Home office is also offered wherever possible.

In general, I am very satisfied with STAAR as an employer. I can't say anything negative.

Very nice and helpful team members across all departments. Nice benefits (free parking spaces, REKA Checks, Health Insurance Contribution...). Challenging tasks, dynamic work environment.

Company is growing very fast and is facing many challenges at the same time.

Very international and multicultural environment, flexible working hours and possibility to work from home, support for further educations, motivated/dedicated colleagues and familiar atmosphere, regular company meetings with a lot of information, free coffee/drinks and fruits, really nice and thoughtful gifts (e.g. for Birthdays, Christmas, etc.), free parking spaces for employees.

So far, STAAR was a very great place to work! I couldn't identify any potential improvements during my now 12 months in the company.

Invitations for the interviews are clear and well organized.

Make candidate more comfortable during the interview. The interview feels more like interrogation. Comunication with candidate should be much better during the interview, since candidate is often misunderstood. The application end process should be more personalized, especially when application process ends with no hiring outcome.

STAAR Surgical is a fast-growing company and quality employer. Employees have the space to grow and working in an international environment makes the daily business very interesting. The flexible workhours and home office opportunity provides me a healthy work-life-balance, which I personally really appreciate! Colleagues and managers are always helpful and caring. I am so convinced of our product EVO Visian ICL myself and I really want to get my eye-surgery soon, so I can say I have Visual Freedom! Thank You STAAR!

More opportunities (events) to meet colleagues, even I know this is difficult during the pandemic situation! Integration of digital technology into all areas can be pushed, even we are all already working hard on this!

Its a rare experience to wake up and feel excited to go to work. That has been my journey working for STAAR.

No feedback on this, I couldn’t experience anything nicely working during the application.

Be more flexible when setting appointments and understanding that applicants who already have a jobs might have questions or requires to set other meeting date.
