BAUHAUS has recognized the important points for being an attractive employer.

In my opinion, BAUHAUS should focus more on the employees. Little attention is paid to employees' opinions, views and suggestions for improvement. This means that a lot of potential is wasted.

People help each other and can ask questions. The processes are being developed further and still have potential for improvement at the moment.

I am very satisfied and enjoy going to work every day. I feel very comfortable in the team.

I think it's very good that the vocational trainer supports the apprentices as much as possible and is always there for them. Or even the apprentices who support each other is simply admirable.

I'm in training and so far I like it very much. And from that point of view, I don't see any potential for improvement.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially all employees in Pluscard Customer Service, HR (Human Resources) and Reception. The supervisors take time for the employees and are very courteous. They also try to implement your ideas and/or suggestions for improvement.

There is a lot of potential for improvement in the organization. One of them is that the supervisors hand over many tasks and/or projects to the employees, which leads to a burden and thus the important things are forgotten or pushed back.

Open communication, employees' concerns are taken seriously. Working atmosphere in Schlieren. Remuneration of sales staff in line with the industry, working hours relatively good for the retail trade.

As an employee at BAUHAUS, you have the opportunity to actively contribute your own ideas. Of course, you must not forget that it is a large corporation and therefore certain guidelines apply at all levels. The work is fun, it is never boring! There is a lively and familiar corporate culture. The employees can develop internally and take the hierarchical path to management. Further possibilities are currently being worked out and the employees are always informed about this. The fringe benefits could be more attractive.

I really appreciate the cohesion among the employees. It is fun.

I like working at BAUHAUS and experience my work as varied and exciting. There are stressful times that are very demanding and exhausting and then "normal" times again - but I appreciate this mix. This mix is certainly not ideal for everyone, but if you take the times as they are, you can learn to deal with them very well. My work is appreciated and, despite the size of the company, I don't feel like a "number". People treat each other as equals, which is exactly what I expect from an employer.

One of the best things about BAUHAUS is the opportunity to do a variety of activities. This has allowed me to gain different skills and experiences that have developed me both professionally and personally. The opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge has motivated me and I have found my way around my job very quickly. The independence, the diverse activities, the steep learning curve, the empowerment of the employees and the great events (barbecue, ski day...) make it a great place to work.

The variety of activities at BAUHAUS is one of the reasons why I like working here. However, this variety can also quickly lead to a high workload. There are times when you have a lot to do and work for different contacts. Sometimes it can also be unclear exactly where a person's area of responsibility begins and ends. With the new bonus system, exceptional performance may not be rewarded. "If it has to be good" the "hammer price" and "low price" logic should not be applied to employee compensation. Workstations are still equipped with Office 2013, which can make work difficult and inefficient. However, it is good to hear that new computers will be introduced in the near future and we will soon be moving to a modern building.

My apprenticeship is going well so far, so I have nothing to complain about.

I thought about it for a long time, but I can't mention anything where things are going really well.

Potential for improvement - That's very difficult. As I perceived it, not even management training would help, because everything is so gridlocked. Bauhaus AG (administration in Belp) is in a rather poor position. The management style is so outdated and full of mistrust. In my opinion, the 5-star ratings should also be questioned rather critically.
