This works well in the company
The application process was a farce. As a customer, I thought a lot of the company before.
This could be improved
At first it was a very sluggish communication. Interview dates were postponed again and again. After 2 bizarre interviews I got a promise... but on the same day in the evening a cancellation! I couldn't believe it. In my experience, dealing with applicants is unacceptable.

Economical successful company with high potential, but structures and values are missing.

The management is very poor. The HR as well. They have to learn how to treat employees with respect. Lots of valuable employees are leaving. The management has no international mindset. They think very local and are not open for new ways.

Our successful growth in recent years has presented our employees and our company with new opportunities and challenges. Management in particular is more challenged than ever. We attach great importance to adhering to the jointly defined corporate values that bind us all together as the basic attitude of the company and each individual employee. As an independent family business, we value personal and direct discourse and are happy to take on critical questions.

The canteen's OK. So are the sales outlets. Headquarters is backwards and forwards wrong. Bad mood in and between departments.
This could be improved
The management and the personnel department would have to be fundamentally renewed. Too many machinations and intrigues lead to high dissatisfaction.

A central role of the human resources department is to identify the most important development areas of the organization and to reflect opportunities and risks back to the management. The open and direct exchange with our employees helps us in this. Our traditional company attaches great importance to continuity and is proud to have so many longstanding, experienced and loyal employees. Through the continuous further development of our organisation, we ensure that we can take our tradition and values with us into the future and remain a sustainable employer. In this development process, it is important to us that we take all our employees with us and accompany them. If decisions that are difficult for employees to comprehend are made during this process, this change process is accompanied by the human resources department.

The cohesion of the apprentices is good. There are also employees who help.

Unfortunately, my time as an apprentice was not beautiful. In some offices, I've been bullied and harassed. The staff people believed me, but did nothing about it. Other apprentices have also had bad experiences in the same office.

As an independent family business, we value personal and direct discourse and are happy to address critical issues. We are committed to vocational training, promote young people and thus make it possible for them to enter the world of work. It is important to us that our learners can benefit and develop in many ways. In addition, our vocational trainers are in direct exchange with our learners. We attach great importance to adhering to the jointly defined corporate values that unite us all as a basic attitude towards the company and each individual employee. We are pleased that many apprentices remain with us as employees after completing their vocational training.

This works well in the company
I myself spent several years in management at Bucherer and can therefore report on the situation from my own experience, as I was able to gain a lot of insight into the structures and processes, but also into the problems of personnel management.
This could be improved
I first read the comments posted here carefully. It was amazing how many abuses have already been mentioned here. So I would repeat a lot now if I were to mention all the points I made first. Whether bullying from HR, bullying in the departments, bullying between the departments, worst management, bad dealings with trainees, and much more, I can only confirm. What amazes me most of all, however, is that HR does not put up with criticism, but plays it down with standardized phrases and talks beautifully. No sign of insight. None to go on the staff. Even if the conditions require serious improvements, there is no response from HR or management. We already had great difficulties in recruiting good personnel at that time. Today it is even more difficult as the reputation as an employer is severely damaged. There is pure chaos at the headquarters and the employees are kept small. What is bad is that the old-established people are treated like goods for fear of dismissal and are sometimes forced to perform very unsatisfactory tasks. This is all done under the guise of modernisation and restructuring, but these are just excuses to legitimise disrespectful behaviour. Younger employees are also kept small and support for further training (e.g. Bachelor / Master) is consistently refused. The company (as many companies do) always demands new knowledge, but does not want to educate its employees. This leads to dissatisfaction and migration. The best go. That's a shame, because the industry could be so beautiful, but not at Bucherer. Thanks for your attention.

As an independent family business, we value personal and direct discourse and are happy to address critical issues. We are happy to offer you the opportunity to discuss your personal situation or the situation in your department with a neutral representative of the personnel department. We are at your disposal at any time. We appreciate the personal and direct discourse that can be critical, because we know that we are not perfect and that not everything always succeeds, even if it is well organized. A central role of HR is to grasp the most important development fields of the organization and to reflect opportunities and risks back to the management. The open and direct exchange with our employees helps us in this. In this development process, it is important to us that we take all our employees with us and accompany them. As a company, we specifically support our employees with a comprehensive range of internal seminars as well as in-service training. We are happy to welcome employees who take the initiative, plan their own development and want to develop themselves further. As a company, we always make our decisions in close consultation with our employees and superiors in order to ensure optimum individual support and at the same time not to disregard entrepreneurial goals. We support this through training agreements.

Business is good in the company. Growth is given and money would be available.

Although the owner or the company is doing very well financially, the employees are not given any opportunities for further training. Even young people are not supported. Studies and professional training are not welcome. After their time at Bucherer, employees have poor chances on the job market. This seems to have method.

Expansion is being driven forward strongly. The sales outlets are renewed and "de-dusted".
This could be improved
The company does not offer any training opportunities. The part-time studies (Bachelor / Master) are neither supported financially nor with time. However, this is common in modern companies today. So the only option for ambitious employees is to move to another company. Bucherer always likes to boast about further training, but these are worthless internal courses. Generally recognised diplomas and training are never supported. On the labour market, however, only these count.

Due to the poor IT infrastructure, working on the road is hardly possible. This is therefore not required of the bosses.

The digitization is still far away from this company. You work in very old systems that don't work properly. No SAP!!! The online shop is like from the 90s. Instead of rapid expansion, it would make more sense to make the existing structures fit for the future. But this is not planned in the foreseeable future. With the old systems, a lot of work has to be done manually and several times. If you come from the banking sector like me, you're used to a different infrastructure.
