As a first step, I would suggest an introductory call before giving candidates an assignment of this magnitude. In my case, with the rectruitment style presented, I would have done without the effort. Because there are always 2 parties to a match, but Holcim seems to think differently.

Weak communication, allowed far too much time to pass, not available despite offer (we are there for you), missed several deadlines set by the job provider itself. Extremely high effort with a 12-page PowerPoint that had to be prepared - BEFORE the first interview. All in all, it was simply a far cry from decency and appreciation, because in the end we received a very cheap e-mail 2 weeks late saying "we have decided in favor of the other candidate." You would expect a different, professional recruiting process from a global corporation.

Cultural mix, very international company. Flexible environment but performance orientated. Salaries are good and sometimes above average for Swiss Market. You can reach interesting senior roles still young not mattering gender or background.

company needs to be more agile with technology. Good initiatives are already showing up.

After only being at the company a few months there is nothing of significance that could be improved.

The employees within the company were fantastic. Everyone would help you and support you, everyone are very friendly.

Senior Management needs to be better decision makers and drive a vision forward and to try to simplify things.

I was treated as a candidate by HR in the highly disrespectful and unprofessional way. I applied for a similar opportunity as I had in my previous group in the same sector. I meet position requirements one by one. I was rejected without a reason in two days. I was advised that they decided to proceed with other candidates. The HR Manager in charge refused to provide me with any explanation. Then, I saw that she posted the same job with headhunting agencies in Switzerland…. I got a call from one of the agencies on the same job … I was simply sick …. I feel cheated as she lied to me .... I have decided to write this review so other candidates may see what can expect. I also believe that the HR damages the image and reputation of LafargeHolcim ...
