VBS is a great and fair employer. The team is great and the management is certainly not old-fashioned. Suggestions for improvement are accepted and ideas can be brought in and implemented. In addition to a fair salary, there are perks for the in-house restaurant and free use of the in-house fitness center. The working environment is state-of-the-art and the management style of my supervisor cannot be faulted.

Normally, I hold back on applications, but when I came across the bad reviews from allegedly dissatisfied former employees, I feel compelled to respond.

Interesting and varied work. New tasks are always being added. Good salary.

There is always talk of appreciation for employees, but this is completely absent in everyday life. Employees hardly have anything to say. Anyone who expresses criticism is ignored or dismissed. The company presents itself as a modern employer, but has old-fashioned structures that will not change in the future due to the composition of the management. The company does not assume any social responsibility toward its employees. There have been a great many layoffs since the beginning of the pandemic. Many long-term extremely qualified employees were dismissed, others left voluntarily due to the poor corporate culture. Inexperienced employees have been brought in, even in management positions, who do not have the necessary expertise. Anyone who wants to work for an innovative company is certainly at the wrong address at the Haus der Wirtschaft.
