WHAT'S THE ROLE?
Are you a recent (or almost) graduate? Do you want to work abroad and become part of management? Hilti Outperformer is a global management development program like no other. In just two years, we'll shape you into a leader ready for the global stage, immersing you in the heart of our customer-focused business model. Brace yourself for a dynamic and stimulating journey—we're here to guide and mentor you, expanding your horizons through diverse international tasks and a purposeful social project.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
Hilti Outperformer is a two-year program , where you’ll quickly be involved in a range of international projects, with lots of exposure to senior management. It’s fast paced and challenging, but we’ll closely coach and mentor you. The program is split into four main stages of work:
Business Track:
- 12 months as an Account Manager in Riga: Work directly with customers, gaining a deep understanding of our products, services, and software. This practical experience forms the foundation for your future roles at Hilti.
- 2 months at the national headquarters: Manage a functional project in areas like logistics, HR, finance, marketing or engineering, gaining operational experience.
- 4 months at the regional headquarters (Prague): Manage a strategic project to understand Hilti's operations at a regional level.
- 6 months on an international project: Tackle a high-impact assignment in a market outside of Eastern Europe , expanding your global mindset and intercultural skills.

Throughout the program, you'll receive coaching, mentoring, and opportunities to showcase your work to senior leadership teams. Upon completion, you'll be guaranteed a landing role within Hilti.
WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- You’ve recently graduated, or you’re preparing to graduate in 2025, with a master’s degree or PhD. Your degree is likely to be in business management, economics, finance or international studies if you can prove you have a mind for our business;
- You’ve spent at least three months in a professional environment, like an internship, apprenticeship or work experience, or have just started your career and want an opportunity where you can perform well and progress;
- Packed bags and mindset—geared for global career thrills;
- You’re multilingual – fluent in Latvian and English;
- Thriving on learning, mature, assertive, curious, dedicated;
- Team player with A+ communication;
- Driving license.

You’ll also take part in some fascinating courses and events:
- Leadership development program – a comprehensive learning journey with IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a qualification from IMD;
- Business management training – individual training at Hilti. A focus on behavioral profiles, personal strengths, leadership styles and communication skills;
- Global summit Experience – 4-5 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein. A look at the way global business units function, plus soft skills like situational leadership and international teamwork with involvement of the Hilti Executive Board;
- Social Impact project – 7-8 days ‘building a better future’. A hands-on and hugely impactful community project, like our recent house building for displaced refugees in Bosnia.
