Mechanical Production Engineer – Mechanical Quotation Specialist - AMAC Aerospace

Job Description

Position and Responsibility

• Ensure feasibility of Request for Quotations (RFQs) in technical and planning

matters

• Liaise with Engineering and Production departments to estimate Man-hours

requirements

• Liaise with Purchasing Department to request Vendor Price for LRU’s,

equipment and materials

• Carry out a physical survey of aircrafts to prepare detailed and accurate

Engineering Quotations

• Prepare Engineering Quotations and ensure timely delivery to Sales

department

• Collaborate and coordinate with Engineering management to review and

approve Engineering Quotations before submission to Sales

• Monitor and update status of ongoing Request for Quotations
• Assist in planning and scheduling Modification Engineers’ workload

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Aviation background, aircraft interior experience, or relevant field
• Understanding of EASA PART 21 G & J
• Working knowledge of aircraft structural, interior, mechanical and electrical

Engineering

• Very good communication in English (verbal and written). French, German or

any additional language would be an advantage

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as RFQs and statements of work
• Ability to work in tight deadlines and multi-tasking on various projects
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with changing priorities
• Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices
• Ability to focus on both the small and important details
• Experience with 2D/3D Computer Aided Drafting/Design
• Proficient with MS Office packages
