For our growing Facility Management organization at a client in the Life Sciences sector in Oberdorf (BL), we are looking:
Laboratory Services Coordinator
Duties & responsibilities:
- Single point of contact for administrative laboratory tasks
- Coordination/planning/scheduling of calibration, maintenance and repair activities. Responsible for maintaining associated documentation as per applicable procedures.
- Supports tasks associated with tests performed as part of functional testing, clinical reprocessing, materials analysis and biocompatibility, as requested and directed by laboratory staff
- Core duties include but are not limited to test sample logistics, specimen handling, inventory management and associated documentation in Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) and Document Management systems
- Supports laboratory staff as part of document updates in the Document Management System. Drives and coordinates document change orders and requests
- Support Environmental Health Service (EHS) activities, e.g., maintenance of Safety Data Sheets repository, support chemical waste management and regulatory audits as needed
- Specific Technician/hands-on laboratory support (training to be provided by client)
- Reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates and maintains equipment upon completion of repairs.
- Communicates with customer staff and outside contractors in the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment, as necessary.
- Escalate instrument performance concerns or breakdown support for resolution to higher level staff or specialty vendors
Person Specification/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar position
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Strong MS Office knowledge
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematic diagrams and specification manuals.
- Fluent English is a must, German working proficiency
