Commercial Lead Hematology / Oncology (H/O) - Swiss Country Business
Job Summary:
The Commercial Lead H/O for the Swiss Country Business is a strategic leadership role focused on driving sales management and marketing initiatives for H/O Brands within Switzerland. This position is responsible for overseeing the Key Account Manager (KAMs) and collaborating with the regional marketing teams to enhance brand presence and achieve sales targets in the Swiss market. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
o Lead and manage the KAMs to achieve sales objectives and expand market share for H/O Brands in Switzerland.
o Develop and implement sales strategies and plans tailored to the Swiss market to meet or exceed revenue targets.
o Understand & implement X-Functional Territory Business Management in order to lead ways of working across sales, medical and market access to optimize territories performance
o Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize sales processes and outcomes specific to the Swiss market.
2. Marketing for H/O Brands:
o Collaborate with the regional marketing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement in Switzerland.
o Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches tailored to the Swiss audience – leverage regional and other country material to optimize efficiences
o Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to maximize brand impact and sales growth in the Swiss market.
o Work closely with the MCM Lead for H/O and IAI in Switzerland to ensure multi-channel strategies support business objectives.
3. Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in Switzerland to drive business growth.
o Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and partnerships to benefit H/O Brands within the Swiss market.
o Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities in Switzerland.
4. Team Leadership:
o Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team to foster a high-performance culture within the Swiss Country Business.
o Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
o Have a regular field presence to coach and develop TBM skills in the field
o Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and success in the Swiss market.
5. Strategic Planning:
o Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy and objectives for H/O Brands in Switzerland.
o Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges specific to Switzerland to inform strategic decision-making.
o Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
· Proven experience in sales management and marketing, preferably within the pharma industry in Switzerland & H/O preferred
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
· Proficiency in CRM software and marketing tools.
· Fluency in English and German/French/Italian (as applicable), both written and spoken.
· The role is office based, with a willingness to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
