Active Directory & Entra ID Senior Architect (f/m/d)

As an Active Directory & Entra ID Senior Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and development of Axpo’s EntraID core and legacy Active Directory environment. Your role focuses on cloud onboarding, lifecycle management, and identity governance while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and operate EntraID, Active Directory, PIM, PAM, and related systems.


• Ensure connectivity with IAM systems and integrate security protocols.


• Develop and maintain architecture, technology documentation, and system overviews.


• Support cloud transformation and contribute to Axpo’s IT strategy.


• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide expert consulting on identity solutions.


• Ensure security standards, conduct audits, and implement compliance measures.

What you bring & who you are:

• Degree in (business) information technology or a related field.


• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and IAM solutions.


• Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, Kerberos, OpenID, LDAP).


• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
