Are you an organized and proactive individual eager to build your career in administration?
Do you enjoy coordinating events (meetings and workshops), managing documentation, and supporting projects in a dynamic and international environment?
We are looking for an Administrative assistant to join our dynamic team and provide essential support to two key areas:
ATS Specification Committee (50%):
- Organize relevant meetings in collaboration with the ATS SC Chair;
- Manage documentation using specific tools;
- Liaise with other internal services;
- Monitor files, update dashboards, and follow up on deadlines in coordination with the lead chair;
- Assist in editing weekly activity reports and compiling statistics for the annual report.
ATS Project Office Support (50%)
- Help organize events such as meetings, visits, reviews, and workshops, including those linked to EU projects;
- Follow up on travel requests for the ATS-DO unit;
- Handle external registration processes for the ATS-DO unit

Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- A service-oriented mindset
- Experience using office software packages
- Good level in both English and French
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State .
- By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Administration, event management (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
Additional Information
Job closing date: 2nd March 2025 at 23:59 (midnight) CET.
Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
