Job Description
ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. Include only the essential functions of the job. Approximately 5 – 10 bulleted task statements should be identified).
- Management of the plasma center in cooperation with the Lead Physician and the Quality Management Representative
- Organizational and administrative management to ensure the timely completion of the tasks of the area
- Planning, deployment, leadership, and motivation of all employees in the Plasma Center
- Active participation as a member of the Plasma Centers Leadership Team
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Responsibility for compliance with internal, national, and international regulations to ensure product quality
- Responsibility for the preparation of budget and investment planning as well as for their implementation and compliance
- Assembling and securing the personnel, spatial and technical conditions for the proper execution of the requirements placed on the area
- Review of the monthly time records of employees and transmission to the payroll department
- Conducting regular employee performance conversations
- Continuous training and development of employees
- Implementation of and active participation in the regular Management Review as well as Management Meetings
- Driving continuous improvement in the plasma center as well as initiation and coordination of OE projects in the center
- Responsibility for local donor marketing and donor support
- Representation of the plasma center to external partners and stakeholders, e.g. local organizations, media and inspections/audits
- Representation of plasma center within BioLife
- If necessary, collaboration with and involvement of other departments of BioLife
- The job holder is required to treat others fairly and respectfully according to Business Ethics
- The position holder cooperatively contributes to the success of BioLife Operations Europe and is willing to share resources with other departments or use them responsibly for special tasks
