Transportation Specialist

Belimo AG is seeking a talented and motivated Transportation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing our transportation processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics operations, and supporting our commitment to energy-efficient building solutions.

• You successfully lead the execution of daily transportation requirements through active coordination with our 4PL and Logistics Service Partners.

• You assist internal and external customers and Logistics service Partners in the resolution of transport related service performance enquiries.

• You lead Quarterly Performance Reviews and our 4PL with logistics service providers to improve cost, service performance, and data accuracy.

• Furthermore, you develop and evaluate additional transport solution requests and suppliers as requested and act as a Subject Matter Expert.

• You continuously review and improve internal transportation processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and performance.

• You maintain current knowledge of transportation markets, global trade/customs, dangerous goods restrictions, CO2e calculation principles, and related legislation.

• Additionally, you act as the global SAP TMS subject matter lead, orchestrating the application and maintaining up-to-date global rates and routes.

• You have a Bachelor's degree, ideally within Supply Chain / Process Management combined with over 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain, including transportation management and SAP 4/HANA.

• You have good technical knowledge in international transportation, sourcing, and customs.

• You have strong analytical skills, are comfortable with large data sets, and have experience leading process change projects.

• You possess effective communication and presentation skills in English and German and can engage all organizational levels.

• You have the ability to make sound business decisions, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high integrity and ethics.
