The Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions (ZGEBS) supports multinational companies in finding the right financing solutions for their global employee benefit plans. From multinational pooling and captive services to innovative global underwriting programs, we offer multinational companies a holistic approach to risk management and financing solutions, maximizing the value of their global employee benefit plans.
The role
As an employee benefits group underwriter, you will be working in an exciting international environment, based in either Zurich, London or Dubai. You will be the primary point of contact for any technical related topics in relation to our corporate customers and you will be handling new and renewal cases as part of a team of Life, Disability, Accident and Group Medical underwriters.
What you will do

Use a disciplined approach to risk assessment of new and renewal business of your own portfolio of customers.

Collaborate with our sales colleagues to help acquire new corporate customers.

Work closely with the account managers and the network partners to win and to retain the business in the best interest of ZGEBS and the Customer.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and processes, supporting the underwriting area.

Contribute to the ongoing performance management of the book of business.
What you bring
-
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the pricing and underwriting of Group Life and/or Medical Insurance schemes;

A team player, who enjoys working in a dynamic and multi-cultural organisation

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

Experience of dealing in International benefits would be an advantage

Proficiency in MS Office applications (including Word, PowerPoint; Excel)

Strong English communication skills. At ease in discussing and communicating about technical topics to a wide range of stakeholders

Ability to quickly understand and make use of new technical information in relation to risk assessment

Ability to understand, interpret and translate customer requirements into deliverables
