In this job you will work closely with senior management and drive strategic projects derived from the company Strategy. Working in interdisciplinary teams around the globe and driving complex projects gets you excited. While you are deadline-driven, you are able to convince stakeholders with pragmatic solutions to move them into action and execute recommendations. The solutions, based on meaningful insights drawn from relevant research, are developed in a collaborative approach but using your ability to think independently. With your work, you will make a valuable contribution to the future direction of GF Piping Systems.

Your tasks

• Lead and manage key global strategic priorities / initiatives to derive Strategy 2030
• Work closely with Head of Strategy of GFPS to drive strategy and implementation
• Work with country Managing Directors and Sales teams to ensure traction of growth plans
• Work with product management and production plants to drive operational excellence
• Gather data and information to derive meaningful insights contributing to the solution development
• Collaboratively manage project teams consisting of local management, key experts, and other relevant people across the organization
• Actively support the GFPS Strategy team, also in ad-hoc requests
• Support management in M&A projects as needed

Your profile

• 3-5 years of prior relevant work experience, in corporate strategy functions/ management consulting
• Ability to quickly assess complex problems, structure logically and provide rational recommendations
• Experience with strategic development, business development within an industrial company, and some experience in corporate finance
• Strong skills in project management, stakeholder management, and market research and analysis
• Ability to quickly establish a network on all levels
• Keen interest in the manufacturing industry and our end-markets
• High motivation, maturity, endless curiosity, and personal initiative
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, any other language a plus
