We are looking for a new team member in Bettlach in the role as

Process Engineering Supervisor - Programming (m/w/d ) 100%

Location: Bettlach

Type of Contract: permanent employment

Start date: in alignment with the candidate’s availability

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machine programmers

• Talent development of team members through coaching, training and personalized developments plans.

• Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured process development approach.

• Ensure optimal machine operation

• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to troubleshoot machine issues and develop solutions.

• Lead a structured approach to scrap reduction within the value streams through data capture, analysis and problem-solving meeting commitments made in the Business Plan.

• Provide support to the team in Root Cause Analysis of supply and quality issues as they arise through tools such as 8D and Six Sigma.

• Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the Engineering team.

• Work with Manager to develop and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.

• Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiative

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's degree

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing

• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

• Good knowledge of production environments / CNC machining

• Mastery of lean manufacturing tools, 6 sigmas

• Good knowledge of investigation tools (hishikawa, 5 whys...)

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make effective decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

• Language: Fluent German and English
