Business Group Manager
What you’ll do:
- This role will be responsible for managing a team of analysts providing operational services to CSIS functions for EMEA and ASPAC regions.
- Direct the operations team that executes regional and global operational processes including but not limited to:
- Day to day operations of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, Invoice receipting for CSIS owned Commodities (including Maintenance of Commodity Approval Delegation Limits in the system as defined by the regional operation teams).
- Prepare accruals as part of month end closing and ad-hoc financial adjustments/corrections where needed.
- Perform the Fixed Assets accounting activities (FA Capitalization, Write Off, Correction/Reclassification, support of FA Inventory management).
- Execute Third Party Management related activities, like Business Activity Owner (BAO) role activities, Third Party Officer (TPO) oversight, ensuring BAO Support is received from the Third Party Management team, TP RAPs and CASP+ records are updated and maintained, contracting related tactical operations tasks are completed.
- Provide up to date and accurate information in support of forecasting/outlook, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliation and any other ad-hoc cost analysis performed by the Regional Operations Team.
- Coordinate with the regional PMO in order to get the necessary data and ensure that Project Tracker is kept updated, providing accurate information about the financial status of security projects.
- Lead the Operations Center all staffing activities including hiring, establishing performance expectations/goal/objectives, staff performance, disciplinary actions, terminations, promotions and staff compensation decisions (e.g.: provide year-end compensation pool recommendations).
- Support the Regional Operations’ deep dive analysis and provide subject matter expertise to formulate recommendations and impact the decision making of senior leadership.
- Manage the Operations Center key performance indicators, metrics and analytics.
What we’ll need from you:
- 10+ years of experience in financial operations areas in a high volume fast-paced, large-scale company
- Deep knowledge in the following areas: financial control, general accounting, accounts payable, third party management, fixed assets administration.
- Prior experience in managing team(s) of individuals with technical and analytical mindset.
- Senior stakeholder management capability.
- Ability to direct and work with virtual global teams within a matrix organization.
- Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views.
- Minimum BA, MBA preferred, other post graduate degrees welcomed.
- Highly proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Prior knowledge in articulating and implementing best practices related to the support areas.
- Proficient in process management and applied methodologies (understanding of process design, process management, process reengineering etc.).
- Advanced in Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with service level requirements.
