Senior/Lead Research and Insight Specialist Description
Do you have an affinity for digital products? Are you curious to shape the future of digital banking with us? This job connects it all through UX research and the deduction of insights based on empirical data. In this role, you will work together with our banking client’s UX Design team on their sustainable digital solutions in Zürich. We are offering a hybrid work model with a mix of remote and on-site work at our client’s office. This position is a fixed-term opportunity for 6-month duration.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute user research projects from scoping to delivery, using methods like interviews, surveys, usability tests and data analysis
- Advocate for the user throughout the design and development process, translating research insights into actionable recommendations
- Analyze user interactions and behaviors through metrics and KPIs, using analytical tools to inform and influence design decisions
- Use UX tools such as Figma and Sketch for prototyping, wireframing and high-fidelity designs
- Prepare and present research reports for the design team, product owners and other company-wide stakeholders to determine the best course of action
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, business analysts, product managers and developers to implement and iterate on design solutions and to find the best resolutions for our clients
- Create and manage client journey maps to visualize and identify pain points and issues that need to be addressed to improve the journey experience
- Share insights and best practice across the company, empowerment and coaching of team members
Requirements
- University degree (master’s degree preferred) in Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or other related fields
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX research, experience design and/or innovation management
- Proficiency in standard research methodologies like interviews, surveys, usability testing and A/B testing, a diverse skillset that covers qualitative and quantitative methods (proficiency in statistical inference preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of research projects, preferably in a variety of sectors
- Proficiency in German and English
