Treasury Operations Officer (100%)

In this role, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities within the Treasury department, ensuring the effective management of liquidity, investments, and risks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute treasury transactions, including placements, investments, borrowing, and hedging, while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Manage the bank’s liquidity to support transactions and investment activities, adhering to liquidity and contingency funding guidelines
• Oversee market and interest rate risks to optimize risk-return performance within approved limits
• Ensure compliance with capital, regulatory, and risk diversification requirements, forecasting funding needs and proposing financing strategies
• Monitor FX exposures, profitability, and financial margins, recommending adjustments as needed
• Develop and implement strategies for treasury products and funding
• Prepare and present reports on market trends, liquidity, and balance sheet performance to senior management and committees
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of treasury activities

Requirements:  

• Degree in Economics, Banking, or Finance; CFA or equivalent certification preferred
• A few years’ experience in treasury management and investment analysis
• Fluency in English and German; Spanish is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Finnova, Bloomberg, and strong analytical skills
• Deep knowledge of Swiss banking regulations and treasury compliance standards
