The position ensures the smooth operation of distribution and logistics processes by managing purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice control. It optimizes operational workflows, monitors expenses, and identifies areas for improvement. Additionally, the role is involved in distribution projects and supports the team to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), Entry Sheets, and handle invoice control for national and international transportation
- Support weekly/monthly tasks, manage accrual bookings, analyse distribution processes for efficiency improvements, and lead distribution projects with guidance and training
- Deputy Domestic Distribution
- Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues from Commercial, 3PL service providers, and other departments regarding domestic distribution
- Provide support in weekly/monthly budgeting and reporting tasks, invoice control processes, analysis and reporting, tracking carrier performance, and process mapping in distribution
- Deputy Cross Border – Logistics Operations and Carrier Coordination
- Ensure timely delivery of products and materials in coordination with carriers (truck ordering, slot booking, customs clearance)
- Responsible for cost claims, monitoring carrier efficiency, managing transport damage complaints, and supporting budget development and the implementation of new transport routes
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Higher education preferred
- Experience with invoice control and financial booking
- You have excellent English skills (Written and Verbal), good German skills is an advantage
- Ability to plan and organize
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in using MS Office applications, and familiarity with Power Bi is an additional advantage
