Operations Finance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions. You will perform benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and assessing the impact on the service organization with a special focus on service profitability, service costing/hourly rates, and over/under-absorption analysis.• Supporting the preparation of the relevant organization's financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.• Validating the accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.• Providing information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations as well as optimizing their performance and productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.• Ensuring processes and controls within their area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with the group and unit requirements as well as maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Experience working with other departments in a manufacturing environment (supply chain, marketing, engineering, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience in ERP (SAP) FICO model, Power BI & Excel
- Skilled in preparation, presentation, and understanding of financial analysis and financial results as well as implementation of action plans to improve financial analysis indicators.
- Experienced with forecasts for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
- Fluent in English
