Introduction to Role:
Join our dynamic team at Alexion as a Patient Services Enrollment Specialist. The Patient Services Enrollment Specialist will support the Alexion Patient Services Team for all US approved products. The specific focus for this role is: patient enrollment and data entry/management initiatives. This role will be responsible for monitoring incoming patient documents, patient case creation and additional data entry activities. This role will provide critical assistance within Patient Services and across Alexion's Commercial organization.
Accountabilities:
As a Patient Services Enrollment Specialist, your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing all patient enrollment documents, supporting patient services with enrollment activities, identifying restrictions and ways to expedite patient allocation, and managing large amounts of data. You will also collaborate with team members on next steps regarding enrollments, respond to additional information requests, support workforce management, and identify trends related to enrollment forms.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 1+ years of business experience in the healthcare/rare disease industry OR recognized equivalent of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change
- Passion for patient-centric strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Independent problem solver, good decision maker, and robust analytical skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- 1+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
- 1+ years of Patient Services experience
- Proficient Windows based experience including fundamentals of data entry/typing
- Experience working in a Salesforce platform
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using critical thinking to align corporate strategies and current challenges to develop recommendations
