The Chair for Gender Medicine is recruiting a RESEARCH TECHNICIAN. Among other top-ics, we investigate the molecular mechanisms of cardiac health and disease, emphasizing gender differences. Our research focuses on physiological and pathological cardiac growth, heart failure, regeneration, and exercise-induced cardiac remodeling. We utilize advanced models such as hu-man induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), primary cardiomyocyte cultures, and animal (rodent) models. By uncovering the fundamental mechanisms of cardiovascular pathophysiology and their gender-specific aspects, we aim to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for heart disease that consider sex and related factors. We are looking for a competent, team-oriented research techni-cian to support our work.
