Your Mission
The Project Manager (PM) is representing Beyond Gravity towards the customer and is entirely responsible for the contract fulfilment and is therefore leading the project.
In addition to the PM role, the job holder is supporting the sales and Marketing, Business Development and Product- & Portfolio Management in their work to get new business
and to strengthen Beyond Gravity with customer’s business insights.
• Take on commercial and technical project responsibility as per ECSS-M-ST-010 ff – including its proper structuring, planning, budgeting, and execution until the end of the warranty period.
• Manage all aspects of the project to agreed-upon customer requirements and ensure all technical, contractual, quality, and financial targets are met.
• Lead a global (sometimes largely virtual) project environment of qualified members from suppliers, engineering and production team members and build strong relationships with customers.
• Monitor each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, risk management and report progress to either stakeholder, internal, subcontractors and customers.
• Oversee and report the development of project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Identify, assess, report, negotiate, implement, and control changes and modification to either scope and programmatic in financial and timely aspects.
• Support Marketing and Sales during the respective acquisition phase and negotiate (with cooperation of legal and sales) the resulting contract with the customer chain and subcontractors if any.
• Attend industrial days and project related meetings and reviews.
• Act as mentor in case of conflicts, claims and crisis associated with the respective project.

- On-time, on-budget, and on-quality project execution, including proper documentation.
- Sales milestones and Contribution Margin
- Change Management with focus on scope, costs, and timing

Must’s:
• Higher degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 2.5 Years’ experience in managing and overseeing customer projects, including contract and claim management.
• Experience of working in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a great team spirit.
Nice to have’s:
• Good industry knowledge (Space, defense, automation, heavy machinery) and experience in an international environment with global customers
• Financial skills covering project controlling activities.
• Experience in MS Office and SAP system
• Technical affinity in mechatronics and structural technologies
