For the biggest Business Unit Electrical Safety Solutions (ESS) we are looking for an ambitious and experienced Product Marketing Manager leading all activities related to drive the business unit’s marketing strategy for the promotion of the Business Unit products to support boosting sales.
Global objectives:
- Define the business unit's marketing strategy and corresponding action plans, in close cooperation with the product line managers, sales team, business development manager and in line with the business unit's growth strategy.
- Develop and manage all promotional material to support the sales and business development activities on new and existing products.
- Work with the Sécheron Hasler Group Marketing Team for trade shows/fairs and manage the required preparation and coordination with the respective Business Unit teams.
- Support the product line managers and the sales team in developing the product economics.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy focused on growth in strong collaboration with the business development manager, product line managers and the sales organization.
- Define in close collaboration with the business development manager and product line managers the product market introduction-/product launch plans and drive the implementation supporting the worldwide sales network.
- Develop all the promotional material to support the sales activities, including commercial brochures, PowerPoint presentations, promotional videos & animations for products and applications, e-learning modules to train the sales network on new products and activities. Create content for website and social media.
- Prepare and provide comparative competitor product analysis to support product line managers and sales team in promoting on new and existing products.
- Establish e-learning modules in cooperation with product managers to reinforce product knowledge of worldwide sales team.
- Maintain product documentation for intranet and corporate purposes.
- Define within the business unit together with sales annual needs for trade shows/fairs and manage preparation of them within the business unit and align with the Sécheron Hasler Group Marketing Team.
- Prepare and manage marketing budget of the business unit.
- Contribute to the preparation of the yearly strategy review meetings.
- Technical degree in electrical engineering or in power electronics.
- Further education in industrial product marketing.
- At least 10 years international experience in sales and product marketing in industrial B2B environment.
- Successful track record in product marketing, thereby driving key people across the organization.
- Proven working experience as a successful product marketing manager.
- Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy and e-mobility.
- Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
- Excellent project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale.
- Proven ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
- Experienced to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, French and German desirable.
