After Sales / Field Service Controller
As an After Sales / Field Service Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of the After Sales division. You will be responsible for financial steering, analysis, and decision support, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting, and mid-term planning. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will provide data-driven insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
This position has global responsibility and is part of the global Group Controlling organization, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A and acting a Business Partner to the respective Management.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Own financial reporting, forecasting, and planning - ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance with international standards.
- Operational Cost Control: Monitor service costs, field service efficiency, and spare parts profitability to maximize margins.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with divisional and field service leaders, translating financial data into clear insights that drive smart decisions.
- Performance Management: Analyze key financial metrics to enhance profitability, optimize working capital, and improve operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement & Digitalization: Drive process automation and use cutting-edge analytics tools to enhance financial operations.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure alignment with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, while supporting audits.
- Audit & Governance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- 5-10 years of financial management experience, ideally in After Sales or Field Services
- Solid expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cost control, and performance monitoring.
- A strong grasp of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
- Strong understanding of standard costing principles and variance analysis in the area of manufacturing and services.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Anaplan, BI tools) and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Additional languages are a strong asset, with German preferred but not mandatory
