Job Description:
IT Asset Management for Downstream Operations:
- Oversee the IT infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems that support the company’s downstream activities and retail points of sale.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT systems across downstream and retail operations.
- Standardize IT processes, policies, and governance models to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and testing plans, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in enterprise architecture and IT governance.
- Identify and implement technology improvements that enhance operational efficiency and trading capabilities.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and manage IT transition projects related to downstream asset integration, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overall business and IT objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, ensuring a seamless transition and integration into the Group's IT landscape.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep the transition on track.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the transition and integration of IT applications, systems and infrastructure within the Group's downstream assets portfolio, ensuring they are seamlessly incorporated into the Group's IT landscape.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to ensure the successful adoption of new systems and identify any areas for improvement in future transitions.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the transition process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues in downstream operations and M&A projects.
IT Due Diligence & M&A Integration:
- Lead IT due diligence for all downstream acquisitions, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities in IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
- Prepare and present IT-related red-flag reports to M&A leadership, highlighting key risks and required mitigation plans.
- Define and oversee Transitional Service Agreements (TSA) to ensure smooth IT operations post-acquisition.
- Participate to Confirmatory Due Diligence process validating IT Infrastructure Risks, reviewing compliance and cybersecurity risks, assessing integration complexity and finalizing TSA.
- Develop IT integration roadmaps and manage the transition of newly acquired assets into the company’s IT environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR, and Operations) to ensure seamless IT integration in M&A activities.
- Establish governance and compliance frameworks to ensure all IT aspects of acquired businesses align with regulatory and company standards.
