At Swiss Life Asset Managers, we are committed to navigating the complex regulatory landscape affecting the financial and digital sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage regulatory change projects within our company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and coordinating these changes across various business functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regulatory projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including risk, legal, compliance, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless execution of regulatory projects.
- Support the development of training and communication plans to educate staff on regulatory changes and compliance procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Proven experience in the end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects within a complex financial services environment (ideally asset management) covering impacts on relevant Business and IT areas.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the finance industry and its impact on business operations. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory texts and translate them into actionable business requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Fluent in German (spoken and written); proficient in English.
