How can you make a difference?
- Coordinate Transaction Group activities, including organizing meetings, setting the agenda, providing meeting summaries and action items, deliverables and timelines.
- Develop and maintain internal procedures and standards, as needed.
- Coordinate and maintain knowledge management and internal communication efforts, as needed.
- Engage with members of Transaction Group and key stakeholders, as needed, to solve issues, bottlenecks and prioritize action items.
- Ensure CO needs are captured and kept up to date.
- Monitor and track action items and Transaction Group deliverables.
- Develop and maintain an internal communication plan with internal stakeholders.
- Support and manage the pipeline of internal requests.
- Support and update strategy/narrative documentation, such as presentations, guidance documents, etc.
- Coordinate activities related to internal procedures including monitoring updates and tracking approvals.
- Support Transaction Group in development of other specific deliverables related to communication, training and more (to be agreed on a case-by-case basis).
- Share best practices in between offices.
- Create and coordinate internal events (meetings, webinars, etc.), as needed.
- Maintain a monthly project presentation of office requests, including the status and timeline of requests.
- Implement internal procedures.
- End-to-end implementation at least 1 new internal procedure, as defined together with the transaction group.
- Update internal channels (i.e. intranet pages) with documentation and processes, as defined together with the transaction group.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or higher) in one of the following fields is required: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Management, or another relevant technical field.
- Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in combination with additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible work experience in digital marketing or digital fundraising areas, with specific focus on areas such as digital acquisition, cultivation and retention of pledge donors, integrated media planning, and marketing communications and multi-channel campaign management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align projects with organizational goals and adapt to changing priorities.
- The ideal candidate is a highly experienced project manager with proven success in the multiple deliverables across multiple regions.
- An experienced leader who has worked in complex or sensitive situations.
- Proven experience working in a multi-cultural environment and with cross-functional teams to deliver on common goals.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and resolving conflicts in a proactive, collaborative manner.
- Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, etc), and processes.
- A strong understanding of UNICEF systems, processes, and operations of UNICEF regional and country offices is an asset.
- Certifications in project management methodologies (i.e. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile etc) is an asset.
- Good knowledge of emerging trends in digital marketing and fundraising technologies is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish or Russian) is an asset.
