Reporting to the Marketing Lead Spine Switzerland, the position holder will be responsible for the MIS & Enabling Technology Spine product & service segment. Key aspects of the role are the development and implementation of the multi-year product & service strategy as well as the related annual marketing plans. This includes providing full clinical and commercial support to our sales team and customers for the assigned product & service segment.
The Product Manager role requires an entrepreneurial mindset as well as teamwork and leadership in several areas of sales, marketing and project management including end-to-end implementation of key projects, business development in high potential accounts, KOL engagement, customer segmentation, targeting and positioning, new product introductions, supply chain management and supervising competitive and sales dynamics.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for assigned product & service segment and achievement of business goals.
- Product owner and expert for assigned products in Switzerland
- Provide ongoing market analysis and conduct product segment performance analysis for existing brands and new products to actively manage the product life cycle.
- Increase profitability through product mix management
- Identify industry trends and relevant competitive information
- Implement and maintain a deep knowledge of competitor's products and strategies in the local market.
- Identify new business opportunities for the assigned product & service segment.
- Develop and implement strategy for assigned product & service segment and new product introduction plans.
- Prepare and implement annual marketing plans for assigned product & service segment to achieve business goals.
- Support sales team and customers for new product introductions and assigned product & service segment through product presentations, first class clinical support and tailored training offering.
Qualifications & Experience:
- University / Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of in sales and/or marketing in medical devices
- Prior experience in the Spine and Enabling Technology industry is preferred
- Languages: English (German & French highly preferred)
- Good leadership and project management skills as well as a sense of entrepreneurship
- Team player with ability to work in matrix environments
- Ability to rapidly build trust and effectively interact and collaborate
- Strategic and analytic capabilities, including excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Secure handling of the MS Office suit and sophisticated skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- The position is located in Zuchwil and Zug, Switzerland and requires travel up to 25% of the time
- Clean driving licence
