Presentation
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of microglia-mediated synapse refinement in neurodegeneration.
The position is funded by SNF Grant and The research will be carried in the group of Rosa C. Paolicelli, at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

Your responsibilities
The project will aim at identifying novel microglial pathways implicated in mediating the beneficial effects of environmental enrichment in the context of neurodegeneration.
A multidisciplinary approach will be used, with a special focus on histological analysis and morphological cell profiling.
Your qualifications
In order to complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills :
- Strong background in neurobiology are a must
- Candidates are required to be fluent in written and spoken English
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success, being passionate about the topic, and able to work independently
