The Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI) is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to complement its IT team. This role will focus on IT-related activities that enable scientific computing and big data management.
The FMI’s IT team provides both general IT services — such as managing laptops, phones, email access, and data center infrastructure — and specialized IT systems for more than 20 research groups and technology platforms, all based in a state-of-the-art facility on the Novartis Basel-St. Johann campus.
