Job Description Summary
The Product Service Accessories Engineer role offers opportunity for direct customer impact by providing direct technical support to global GE Vernova (GEV) customers for 3 main workstreams:
1) Resolving or mentoring team through customer technical inquiries via engineering response (ER) cases
2) Leading or engaging in complex controls and accessory & plant equipment root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for high business impact issues, often with cross-functional teams
3) Communicating GEV technical guidance to customers or site representatives via user conferences, customer webinars, and technical documents; additionally, communicating technical details and business risks to GEV internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own the technical resolution to multiple complex turbine accessories/auxiliaries issues at power plants with a sense of urgency.
- Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers’ fleet, then communicate to the relevant audience (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo alerts, etc.)
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Vendors, and/or Customers to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner
- Drive complex RCAs through root cause and corrective action while communicating both internally (field teams, GEV leadership) and externally to end customers
- Demonstrate and promote the GE Vernova Way, lean principles, and simplification into day-to-day activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from accredited university.
- Strong experience with GE/Alstom Turbines accessories systems and/or plant systems.
- Strong oral and written communication in English language.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites to support issue resolutions, when such need arises.

- Not afraid of being uncomfortable with the specific technical problem and willingness to apply engineering problem-solving methods to resolve the issue, under pressure
- Ability to communicate at all levels (field engineers, site engineers, plant managers, GEV leadership, etc.)
- Ability to rapidly change directions for multiple concurrent projects based on emergent business priorities
- Humble, open, collaborative, and continuously learning.
