SUMMARY
As part of End-to-End Supply Chain & Procurement, you will intervene on both direct & indirect procurement for Incyte Biosciences Technical Operations Sàrl (GMP Manufacturing environment). Provide expertise through an understanding of supply markets/trends, cost drivers and the impact to Incyte’s business model. Works closely with key stakeholders to develop effective sourcing that enable improvements in quality, service, innovation, and annual cost reductions. Develop supplier relationships to leverage their capabilities, improve supply continuity, and reduce costs. Effectively prioritize work incorporating Operations, Quality and Business requirements. This position is both hands-on (tactical) and strategical oriented.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Tactical activities: +/-30%
- SAP: PIR creation, verification, maintenance, trouble shooting for direct procurement.
- ARIBA: PO management for indirect procurement.
- Salesforce: creation and maintenance of procurement legal records.
- Request, collect, and archive documentation supporting item creation (Quality package mostly).
- Collaborate with accounts payable and provide support in case of invoice discrepancies (if needed).
- Actively support the procurement manager on any administrative tasks or topics delegated.
- Strategic activities: +/-70%
- Direct:
- Manage Supplier’s account up to KCHF 100.
- Indirect (OPEX):
- Initiate and maintain framework agreements with indirect vendors with full priority on key accounts (larger spendings).
- Initiate and animate an indirect category management (QC, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Automation and IT); including the tracking and analysis of indirect vendors’ performance.
- Initiate a risk matrix to determine dual sourcing priorities for indirect spends and initiate deployment with internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular, clear and straight forward reportings on all on-going topics to the Procurement Manager.
- Identify, implement and report any savings/cost avoidances opportunities.
- Support internal clients in case of litigations, investigations, deviations.
- Create and maintain strong alliances with internal clients.
- Indirect (CAPEX):
- Engage with internal requestors to understand project scope and constraints.
- Participate actively in supplier selection (RFI/RFQ), lead negotiations with best TCO suppliers and perform contracting steps with selected final bidder, internal stakeholders and Legal (use of Incyte’s legal templates).
- Provide regular, clear and straight forward reportings on all on-going topics to the Procurement Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Procurement or any Business Administration related field.
- Relevant experience in Procurement, preferred relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device or chemistry or any highly regulated industry.
- SAP + ARIBA experience.
- Must speak English and French (german a plus but not required)
- Curiosity, appetite for technical topics or capacity to understand them at macro level.
- Capability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, at ease in a fast-paced environment.
