As Lead Test Manager, you are responsible for test management in our Swiss Post branches and self-service solutions – from the definition of requirements stage to implementation. You promote agile test principles, develop innovative test strategies and ensure seamless integration in the development process. How you make a difference
- As the responsible person for test management, you supervise projects and services for Swiss Post branches and self-service offers from the definition of requirements stage to implementation and ensure that test activities are integrated early on in the development cycle.
- You promote agile test principles and a quality-oriented manner of working in a targeted manner, you enable the team to accept responsibility for quality and ensure that continuous testing becomes a fixed component of the agile process.
- You create test concepts and strategies, align them with the product targets and ensure that they are complied with across all teams.
- In close cooperation with the specialist units and development teams, you plan and implement cross-cluster end-to-end tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- You define, optimize and manage procedures for test automation and continuous integration, while at the same time providing for stable test environments and ensuring the standardization of test tools.
- You coordinate the troubleshooting process, working together closely with DevOps to guarantee efficient and sustainable problem resolution.
What you have to offer
- For this role, you have basic commercial or technical training supplemented by further training in the field of information technology or business informatics.
- Long-term experience as a test manager in the agile development of complex software solutions as well as a fascination for IT help you to successfully master the challenges of this role.
- Sound knowledge of software development and test automation as well as in-depth technical understanding enable you to develop effective test strategies.
- You are familiar with agile methods such as SAFs and Scrum, have a strong understanding of agile testing and practical experience with common tools such as JIRA, Xray and Confluence.
- You are capable of reliably coordinating several tests at the same time and working together closely with developers, solution architects, specialist units and other stakeholders, while you enable the test skills within the development team and continue to develop in order to drive forward continuous quality improvement.
- An analytical mindset, structured method of working as well as clear and transparent communication distinguish you, while very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English will make it easier for you to communicate with various different contacts.
