We are Velo Cafe Hall, a renowned cafe in the heart of Switzerland. We are currently seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Chef Cook to join our team. If you have a love for food and a knack for creating positive guest experiences, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Plan menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and high stress environments.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of best cooking practices.
• Culinary school diploma.
