As the technological spin-off of Solar Impulse, the first electric airplane to fly around the world, the mission of H55, is to make aviation clean, safe, and affordable.

Having integrated and flown 4 electric airplanes, the Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator. About the role
Program Manager is in charge of customer programs which entails both the overall definition and management of the customer offer and ensuring delivery of the product and on-going customer relations. Working closely with the Chief of Sales Marketing and Business Development, the Program Manager contributes tangibly to the overall success of the company.This role is a fixed term contract replacing maternity leave, from around May to February 2026.
The tasks of this position include:
- Understanding and analyzing the technical and business needs of the customer community
- Conducting technical feasibility studies and build final technical and cost offer
- Structuring the offer; business modeling, costing and pricing, NRC, RC and depreciation impact
- Program and project scheduling and deliverables
- Supporting the Sales Organization in contract negotiations
- Overseeing and managing execution of the customer order including anticipating delays and implementing program adjustments
- Taking care of the customer relationship during the execution phase
- Negotiating and implementing customer changes
- Using state-the-art program management tools
- Coordinating the overall capacities of the Company in the event of parallel execution of several contracts/offers in parallel
Your Profile & Experience
- This role is a fixed term contract replacing maternity leave, from around May to February 2026.
- University degree in a relevant, ideally engineering, discipline (System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems)
- Competence in management of the economic side of an industrial activity (P&L, cost management, design to cost, …)
- Demonstrated experience and expertise as project/program manager in the aviation sector typically 5+ years, bringing projects to successful completion
- Technical / engineering experience in aviation/aerospace with direct client management/ engagement
- Broad knowledge of other engineering disciplines, HW/SW development, mechanical engineering to assess/coordinate the product development cycle on a high level
- Good understanding of certification and production methods and standards in aviation
- Management skills, resources and budget
- Strong understanding of the company’s key competitive strengths - technology, pricing, manufacturing capabilities, plans to scale, etc. - and being able to use these qualifications for identifying, engaging and increasing the company’s customer base
- Hands-on execution management
- Driven by team spirit and transparent cooperative management style
- Dispose of an entrepreneurial and strategic thinking ability; has a high level of synthesis capacity
- Illustrates strong customer focus / mind-set
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) and if possible, in French and German
- At ease and comfortable with fast commercially growing small high-tech companies where product and technology offerings still need to be matured and proven in the market.
