Since 1997, we have been purchasing maritime freight and logistics services for our discerning customers from all over the world and handling the operational and administrative aspects of transportation.

To support our ever-growing business, we are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and self-motivated individual with a strong customer focus to fill the position of Freight Forwarding Clerk, Sea Freight.

What You'll Be Doing

• Independently and competently support our customers via email and phone
• Coordinate, schedule, and monitor global sea freight shipments (import, export, cross-trade, FCL, and LCL)
• Handle special cases and customer-specific requests
• Collaborate with internal departments and international offices to ensure a smooth shipping process
• Receive, review, and enter customer orders while proactively monitoring shipments according to KPIs
• Prepare and manage relevant shipping documents
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders
• Issue invoices to customers and partners and verify supplier invoices

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Completed commercial training or relevant professional experience in sea freight forwarding
• Career changers with relevant experience are welcome
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent in English and German, French is a plus
