SmartLiberty is the new safety and communication platform for the world of long-term care. Our system offers a modular combination of mobile resident call, wandering management, assistance call, telephony, WLAN and over 20 specialized applications. This makes it the most comprehensive solution on the market.
We develop, install and maintain digital solutions for the world of long-term care. We use technology to help seniors and caregivers. Our solution interfaces with Android smartphone apps, radio systems, alarm servers, RFID components and sometimes even radar or artificial intelligence-based behavior recognition systems. All these technologies have to work reliably around the clock for our EMS customers in Switzerland and Europe.
The role
As part of our international growth and expansion, we're looking for a software engineer. You'll be joining a passionate tech team, where you'll play an active role in the design and development of our solution based on a microservices architecture. If you like technical challenges, modern architecture and concrete projects, this is the job for you.
Tasks
- Develop robust backend applications in .NET (C#)
- Design and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices
- Ensuring inter-service communication with RabbitMQ and gRPC
- Manage PostgreSQL databases (creation, optimization, migration)
- Write tests (unit, integration) to guarantee code quality
- Collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps teams to deliver quickly and efficiently
- Part of the 24/7 support team (rotation)
Skills
- Solid experience in .NET / C# development (3 years or more)
- Good command of microservices architectures
- Real ease with RabbitMQ and asynchronous communication
- Working knowledge of gRPC
- Good command of PostgreSQL (and sensitivity to performance)
- Knowledge of Azure Devops tools
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes a plus
- Team spirit, autonomy and the desire to learn continuously
