Role Overview:
The Sales Manager, Trauma, CMF, Sports, Shoulder and PowerTools, oversees a team of sales consultants responsible for these portfolios in Flanders. This role involves developing, deploying, and managing solutions and partnerships to retain and grow the existing customer base while delivering sustainable, profitable growth. As an ambassador of the world’s largest healthcare company, you will bring innovative, high-quality products and solutions to the Belgian market. You will maintain a results-driven approach, lead by example, and prioritize people development, exercising diversity and inclusion principles. Compliance with Johnson & Johnson's guidelines and local legal requirements is paramount.
Main Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management:
- Manage and support a team of sales consultants.
- Provide resources and solutions to the sales team.
- Coach team members on effective selling techniques, evidence-based selling, and articulating value propositions.
- Foster a winning culture and inspire team members with positive leadership and The Credo ambassadorship.
- Ensure progress delivery and implement corrective actions as needed.
Business Planning:
- Develop business and territory development plans.
- Create and deploy analytical tools and processes to improve business outcomes.
- Conduct business planning for the respective territory.
- Collaborate with different parts of the organization to gather and utilize necessary data for business planning.
- Develop strategic partnerships to protect, grow, and expand market foothold.
Business/Territory Management:
- Assume end-to-end responsibility for business in the assigned territory.
- Aim to deliver profitable, sustainable growth in the territory.
- Implement business and marketing plans in the territory.
- Translate business strategy into specific short-, mid-, and long-term actions.
- Manage the territory’s budget.
- Deploy resources and solutions to generate incremental value for customers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to lead customer-company interactions.
- Lead tactical and strategic initiatives to streamline business processes.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support the business unit director in delivering outcomes, improving execution excellence, and developing strategic initiatives.
- Participate in companywide initiatives.
- Serve as an ambassador for the business and territory within the organization.
- Ensure the highest quality, safety, and compliance measures are met.
- Seek personal and professional development opportunities.
- Champion diversity and inclusion principles within the team and workplace.
