To support our Finance team, we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for a:
Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to join our finance team and play a critical role in managing the organization's cash flow and treasury activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely execution of cash management tasks and contribute to process improvements within the treasury function.
Role & Responsibilities
- Daily Cash Management: Manage daily cash operations, including funds management, bank account monitoring, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations across the Group.
- Bank Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of daily bank transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations.
- Cash Positioning: Consolidate treasury information from subsidiaries to provide a daily accurate group cash position.
- Payment Processing: Consolidate and prioritize payment requests from various departments and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Supplier Relations: Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and manage communications with other departments.
- Expense Validation: Validate employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Cash Forecasting: Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, including inflows and outflows.
- Treasury Risk Management: Identify potential treasury risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Banking Relationships: Maintain and develop strong relationships with banking partners to optimize banking operations and services.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving treasury processes and implement efficient solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Financial Planning: Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain financial statistics and prepare reports for management review.
- Bookkeeping: support the accounting team with bookkeeping of supplier invoices.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
Additional Activities
- Foreign Exchange Management: Monitor foreign currency exposures and propose efficient strategies to decrease the transfer costs.
- Treasury Systems: Maintain and optimize treasury management in ERP and MS Office tools.
- Debt Management: Assist in managing the group’s debt portfolio, including interest and principal payments.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain strong internal controls for treasury activities.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- 7+ years as a Treasury Accountant, Treasurer, or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle financial data with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Knowledge of treasury systems and tools is a plus
- Experience in cash forecasting, foreign exchange management, or debt management is advantageous

Languages
Good level of English and French (spoken and written).
