Numab Therapeutics AG is an expanding Swiss biotech company based in Horgen, canton of Zürich.
The company is focused on the discovery and development of innovative, antibody fragment-based therapeutics with a focus on inflammation and immuno-oncology. With our breakthrough antibodydiscovery and multi-specifics engineering platform, we engage in proprietary projects as well as collaborative research on behalf of partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
To develop Numab's growing proprietary therapeutic pipeline we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual for a role as Scientist within our Formulation and Analytics team.
Scientist Formulation Development 100%
In this diverse and impactful role, you will be at the forefront of driving Numab's lead candidates from research into development and clinical stages. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing robust liquid and lyophilized formulations of our multi-specific antibody-based therapeutics.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead developability profiling of our biologics to ensure their suitability for clinical development
Design and execute formulation studies - with a focus on parenteral liquid formulations - using statistical approaches such as Design of Experiments (DoE)
Analyze formulation stability using a range of analytical methods including SE-HPLC, CEX- HPLC, cGE and others
Drive early-phase biophysical screening - enhancing throughput while minimizing material use, and exploring new analytical technologies
Interpret and present scientific data to internal teams and external stakeholders, proposing clear next steps for project progression
Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to accelerate development and ensure timely project delivery
Support lab operations - including the organization, evaluation, and procurement of equipment and consumables
Ideal candidates will have:
Completed MSc or PhD in biochemistry, biophysics or pharmaceutical sciences with industry experience in the field of biophysical assessment and/or development of liquid parenteral formulations of biologics
Theoretical and practical expertise in evaluating protein biophysics and stability, such as colloidal, interfacial, and chemical stability within developability assessment and formulation development
Experience in (high concentration) liquid formulation development of biologics and good understanding of relevant analytical methods to monitor stability, e.g. SE-HPLC, CEX-HPLC and cGE
Professional experience in high throughput screens including the use of DoE
Expertise in advanced data evaluation and analysis
Initiative, problem solving skills, self-motivation and curiosity
Highly accurate and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality
Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skills in English
What we offer:
A diverse field of activities in a dynamic team with an inspiring, entrepreneurial atmosphere
Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths
The opportunity to take responsibility, help shaping and implementing solutions
Employment conditions in line with the market, superior pension plan, flexible working time model, and opportunities for further personal development
Performance-based bonus and participation in the employee stock option plan
Several fun team events throughout the year
A workplace near the city of Zurich, overlooking the lake
We are looking forward to receiving your application with reference number NB125 to E-Mail schreiben.
