What you will do:
- Drive solutions focused on SAP RAR process and related integrations.
- Drive solutions focused on Asset accounting and related integration with other SAP modules
- Drives solutions focused on Intercompany Accounting
- Responsible for the delivery of capabilities across the SAP S/4 Finance application platform including other Finance integrating systems and end to end solutions with PayMetric, Vertex, SWIFT, Spend Management applications.
- Must understand FSCM, Cash application and treasury.
- Functional Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform/application stack
- Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies.
- Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing global standards with the business needs and processes
- Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions
- Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics.
- Lead/champion new generation of technologies in the Finance applications arena
- Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
- Special projects/assignments as required.
What you need:
Education & special trainings:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer science, Engineering or equivalent field of study required.
- Master's degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines preferred
- Professional qualification CA, ICWA, ACCA or related preferred
- Educational certifications in Accounting and Finance domains preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience required
- Experience in leading teams of resources for projects, minimum 3 years
- Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning.
- Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile implementation methodology is preferred
- Ability to analyze business situations
- Excellent organizational/communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience in design and deployment of regulated applications
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively across a cross functional and matrixed organization
- Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents).
- Ability to drive initiatives and projects independently from start to finish.
