System engineer

We are seeking a System Administrator for a client based in Zurich, operating within the medical sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in virtualization, basic networking skills, and experience managing critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows systems and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)..
• Configure and manage network equipment.
• Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for internal users.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize infrastructure and processes.
• Document technical procedures and configurations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in German at a professional level.
• Experience in Windows system administration and virtualization.
• Skills in configuring and managing Cisco networks.
• Competency in IT security.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Profile:

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco certifications are a plus
