LINE MANAGER: Onboard Finance Analysis and Process Manager
As an integral part of the Naples Onboard Finance Team, the Onboard Finance Procedures and Control Specialist collaborates closely with the Onboard Analysis and Process Manager to ensure the preparation of assigned Standard Procedures. This role involves extensive work in the Analysis and Process area of Onboard Finance, with a particular emphasis on meticulous processes mapping, controls, and seamless coordination with the headquarters in Geneva.
•Follow-up on New Onboard Finance Designed Processes, implementing dedicated procedures for new OBF-designed processes;
•Preparation of Finance Operational Procedures, developing comprehensive finance operational procedures to harmonize and secure onboard finance operations;
•Verify the consistency of OBF procedures with other departments in the same context and/or topics;
•Collaborate with other departments/stakeholders for the preparation of upcoming financial products in various areas/seasons;
•Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned area/itinerary regarding dedicated procedures;
•Adapt and/or issue procedures following new implementations that require securing processes;
•Support in Analysis and Processes creation, using process design tools to create visual representations of onboard financial processes and data analysis;
•Control and consolidate procedures application through Operations Managers' feedback.
•1- year experience as a "Finance Director" or equivalent position onboard cruise ships or 2- year experience as a Financial Consultant and/or Financial Controller (experience in cruise/shipping/hospitality industry is a plus);
•Fluent in English; any additional European language is considered an advantage;
•Good knowledge of MS Office tools (advanced Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Access skills), Fidelio, and/or Otalio Cruise Ship Property Management System, Visio, Drawio, SAP Business Object;
•Excellent communication, strong organizational, problem-solving, time management skills;
•Multitasking ability, capable of handling stress and working under pressure;
•Methodical and analytical approach, numerical, and strong accounting skills;
•Availability to travel for business.
•Right to work in Italy.
