Finance MBA Internship

Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is focused on a growing portfolio of high-quality, affordable, branded generic medicines that been successfully treating patients for many years.

We are currently sourcing applications of an MBA Internship opportunity in the EPD Headquarter (HQ) Finance team in Basel.

The HQ finance team supports the EPD organization by managing budget processes, leading financial analysis and partnering with relevant stakeholders to create financial plan and strategies that support the company’s objectives.

Core Internship Responsibilities:

As an intern in the EPD HQ Finance team, you will be exposed to various financial activities, from Sales and Profitability to Cash Flow and Exchange analysis. You will collaborate with several experienced Finance professionals, support key projects execution at divisional level and with your analysis, you will contribute to provide financial support and transparency to the Senior Leadership team.

Key job responsibilities are:

• Drive process improvements, including creation and enhancement of standard reports / tools

• Assist in Financial analysis, identifying key trends and ensuring reliability and accuracy of financial information provided

• Collaborate with key stakeholders in Latin America, Emerging Markets and India to drive standardization of financial data across the organization

• Develop an understanding of EPD unique business and its financial processes and analysis

• Assist in monthly Cash Flow activities

• Support the creation and maintenance of cash flow reporting templates, gathering and consolidating financial data from different affiliates and regions, analyzing trends and discrepancies

• Assist in developing training materials and documentation for cash flow principles

• Drive EPD Product Master Data improvements

• Support the creation of Power BI dashboards

About you:

• Currently studying in internationally recognized school

• Education in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Fluent English Speaker

• Strong knowledge of excel is a must, Power BI would be a plus

• Demonstrated capabilities in initiative, thinking creatively and working collaboratively

• Long term interest in working in the healthcare sector
